Lipnik, site 5, gmina Kańczuga, pow. przeworski, Voivodeship Podkarpackie
This multicultural site was excavated by the Institute of Archeology of the Jagiellonian University (Kraków) under the direction of Prof. Wojciech Blajer between 1998 and 2006. The excavations brought graves of of the Mierzanowice Culture, including the grave (furnished with stone tools) which should be dated to the early phase of this culture (ca. 2400 -2300 BC) and several dozen settlement pits of the Trzciniec Culture dated to ca. 1600-1200 BC. Approximately 380 cremation graves of the of the Tarnobrzeg Lusatian Culture (mostly in urns). Some of the burials belong to the Early Iron Age (ca. 1300-400 BC).
