Aliquot1 reports a sighting by Mouterde2 of two temples, one to Jupiter of Baalbek. According to Aliquot, "the abandoned village of Qana occupies the promontory overlooking the right bank of Wadi Yahfoufa, where this river comes out of narrow gorges. A very steep path, cut in places in steps, follows the slope of a high rock wall to overhang the water a hundred meters".
