The Babylonian clay "map of the world" unearthed in Sippar is currently housed in Brithish Muesum in London (BM 92687). This map dates back to Neo-Babylonian (Persian Period, ca 500 BC is copy of an earlier original of the Sargonid Period, (late eighth or seventh century BC). It is a kind of Babylonian cosmographhy as it is a drawing and textual description of the Babylonian cosmos.
