The collection of the famous Jesuit scholar/scientist, once kept in the Collegio Romano, was dissolved after the unification of Italy (1870). The Etruscan objects ended in the Villa Giulia, the Roman objects in the National Museum. The Egyptian finds are still in the Collegio Romano.
