Roman temple and sanctuary at Deir Mar Touma

data access 29014

Aliquot1 lists this site under the heading Saidnaya, but the south facing temple and its sanctuary are actually in the ruined portion of the monastery of St. Thomas about 2km. north of the convent complex of Saidnaya. The earler temple like tomb converted into a church most probably in the V century.
