Petra, Winged Lions Temple

The Temple of the Winged Lions was a Nabataean cult complex on the northwestern slope of the Wadi Musa, in the prominent place with the "Great Temple" opposite. Temple dated to the reign of King Aretas IV (9 BC–40 AD) and was eventually destroyed in the massive earthquake of 362 AD.
