data access 67873

A Roman villa, a church, a bath and a sewer, a whole mausoleum complex from the 3rd century AD and a tomb were discovered. The excavations revealed well-preserved remains of architectural details (marble decoration), underfloor heating (hypocaust), four periods of living, certificates of production activity (20 kilns for building ceramics), 40 rooms, preserved plumbing system, a huge number of finds (including remains of fabrics), military diploma and many more. Currently in the Archaeological Park "Skaptopara" are preserved in their place where they were found, the Roman villa and the Roman bath. The Christian church, the ancient tomb and the pottery kiln were moved.
